i tried asking this b4 too but never really got a straight answer

if u shim the wastegate
how much is still safe
considering the fact that the internals are stock
the fuel delivery system is still stock
most likely upgrades will be an intake and exhaust
how much can u push it?

Really anything -past 9 is pointless on stock.
why is it?
im not trying to b an a$$ about this
im jus curious and im trying to learn as much as i can

Becuase of a few things:
1. If you have a stock headgasket say goodbye to that. You want more boost than 9_PSI? Buy a BHG.
2. You will hit fuel cut past this. (9 _PSI is a rough number)

no you wont hit fuel cut after 9 psi. ppl boost up to 15psi on the ct26 before fc, however the ct-26 is said to lose effeciency after 13psi. also if you've already retorqued the head turnin up the boost a lil will be fine. and ive heard the stock internals are good up to i think its 500hp but im sure if you get up that high you may have already changed them
