Default Electrical short

I am having an issue that ,when I step on the brake pedal the lights on my climate controll go out.I first though that maybe someone patched into the power leads and there wasn't enough current to run everything but I took most of the dash off last night and nothing looks like it was spliced into and all wires are in good shape.I also get a check light on the dash when I step on the brake ,I assume it's the burned out tailight warning but all lights seem to be working.I removed the rear wiper and power antenna and didn't see any suspicious wiring in the rear either.I can't imagine where or why the climate controll and brake light harneses would ever intertwine but this has got the better of me.Any input?

Battery has a strong crank to it and the alternator is putting out a consistent 13 volts.Guess the next step is pulling off all the panels in the rear and checking all grounding points.I shall overcome!
