Default 7MGE to 7MGTE SWAP!

Hey guys I have a really nice 1986.5 Toyota Supra and have always wanted to turbo charge it. I recently purchased a 1987 Supra Turbo, 5sp for $800. I want to just swap the engines. I was wondering if anyone has done this? Are there any problems to watch for? Tips/tricks? I would also like to know if any preventative mantainance should be done. The 87 has about 155,000 miles, the engine runs strong, no problems, or knocks. I was going to replace the head gasket and put in a metal one. Any one know what brand is best, mm, etc? I was thinking of a 1.5 or 2.0 mm. Any help would be appriciated!!
Thanks

it should be very straight forward swap...nothing different than the na, just remove and replace.

as far as preventive, i would replace all gaskets including oil pan,cam seals, turbo gaskets and head gasket. I had my head machinned I believe 20 thousands and ended up using a 1.4 mm titan motorsports metal headgasket and arp studs and so far no leaks...thanks to the supra gods..lol

the size of the hg depends on how much the head/block are machined

i asked the same thing like two days ago same year car just mine looks worse lol i was told if manual i was probly going to need a clutch upgrade and they said the computer was compatable but it's an na computer so i think you or i would probly have to get the computer erased and redone at a dyno shop but other then that everything i was told will bullet up engine trains
