Hks Bead Metal Head Gasket Bore Size Help!!!!!!!!
Im changing my head gasket on my 7mgte. I bought an 1.2mm thick HKS metal head gasket bead style, but i noticed that all the HKS head gaskets have a 46mm bore on them and my stock 7mgte cylinder bore is about 44mm. Would the 2mm difference affect the performance of my engine after the rebuild??? Other websites are saying that 46mm is the size of the cylinder bore on a stock 7mgte but the service manual says its about 43mm - 44mm. who is right????? I need HELP ASAP.

Stock bore is 83 mm diameter that can be re-bored to +.020 thou or + .040 thou, which makes the maximum bore diameter 84 mm approx.

Ok! just measured a stock head gasket it measures 85 mm diameter, assuming you mean your gasket measures 86 mm dia I wouldn’t have though the extra combustion chamber area you have gained wouldn’t make any difference. The same could apply to a skimmed head or block or a thicker gasket, providing it isn’t a excessive amount.
