Alarm
I believe that my 1990 na came with an alarm of sime kind because the security light turns on when i lock the doors and get out. The trouble is, i can't unlock the door from the drivers side with the key. I have to walk around to the passanger side. Should my car have came with a keypad? Is there a way to get one?

Well I think that is because you have a broken door lock mechanism, Not missing something. That security light is the factory alarm, It is supposed to come on. It cant stop you from unlocking the door. It can stop you from starting the car, But thats a whole different story if it happens to you. I would say just take the door apart and see if anything looks messed up in there around the lock, And take it off and clean it out. And if your alarm gives you trouble just lock and unlock the passenger door and it should go off.
