burton51m 11-24-2006 02:29 AM

just edit your first post and put the new things u weighed in so ppl dont have to scroll from page to page to find the part they are looking for.

u probably were gonna do this anyway though...

stock rims are supposed to weigh 23lbs each. Tire weight can vary depending on tire manufacturer. Different tire materials weigh differently. Just as an FYI.

well,
we'll all see tomorow
im gonna take out the seat too
both driver and passenger
so wish me luck that i dont mess nothing up lol

I know the rear wiper arm and motor assembly weighs about 3.5 lbs, maybe you could confirm that? And while your car is off the road, could you also weigh some stuff under the hood...I removed my cruise control assembly, charcoal canister, bracket for both, and all associated parts. I would like to know, and probably some other people too haha. Or ill just do it when i can. And, are you keeping the broke down NA? If you wana sell some parts off it, i need a driver door OUTSIDE handle..I bought one already but forgot to tell the guy i needed the outside and not the inside, so i have an inside door handle for sale if anyone wants it lol.

Supra2NR 11-25-2006 01:18 AM

sorry, keeping the broke na
no parts for sale lol
but im using it to help everybody here lol

Oh ok. Continue weighing everything!! GJ so far. I would say getting weight off the front is key, I think adding weight to the rear would actually help the mk3 off the line some. In gt4 i added a 200 lb ballast to the rear of a mk4 supra with 800 hp and it took almost 1.5 secs off the 1/4 time, I know its just a game but it simulates traction and dynamic properties pretty well. So i would say move as much weigh to the back as possible, But I cant really think of anything but the battery lol.
