the 7m-gte uses both afm and map. the afm is the silvery metal piping with a black box on the side of it just behind the air filter case. the afm is what works the actual running of the engine. the map sensor is purely for the working of the digidash boost guage. it does not in any way affect the running of the car.

you wouldn't even be able to use the word map in a 7mgte, it just does not exist

there is the turbo pressure sensor located on the left strut tower, same side as your diagnostic box, it is not efi related in any way

so... 7mgte = no map sensor.. anywhere

unless you magically have a turbo A engine, but then then you wouldn't have an afm if you had one of those

um, suze, what is the turbo pressure sensor?? it detects what pressure is running in the inlet manifold. how does it read that? using a map sensor... so technically, a 7m-gte does use a map sensor, just not for the running of the car
