Be sure to read the 'buying a supra' thread in the FAQs section, first.

Sounds very nice, but should be for that price. No leaks, very good paint, tires and windows. Everything sould work inside including A/C and the courtesy lights. Make sure there is nor rust on the wells on either side in the luggage area. They can trap water.
Check on what was rebuilt on the engine and did they make any alterations with the head bolts and or gaskets. Tires should be in pretty good shape and all the controls on the drivers seat should work. Check the TEMs for the shocks it it comes with it. Manytimes they are worn and can either be replaced or use non-adjustable shocks, but the stocker TEMS can be very expensive. Good luck and let us know. Russ |

Thanks everyone. I have read the "Buying a Supra" thread, and planned on inspecting everything properly. Unfortunately, certain financial circumstances (a.k.a. LIFE) will prevent me from buying this car. So I'll be in the hunt for a slightly lower priced Supra (a.k.a. around $3000) Thanks.
