Electric windows playing up.
Hi all..
I have just bought a 1988 Supra 3.0i Lovely car, however the electric windows are playing up. All was fine until I started playing with the window lock button and now the passenger window will not close. I'm pretty sure it is this window lock button which has somehow got itself stuck in lock. I have taken the main window switch panel out from the drivers side to see if I could do anything but of course the whole thing is a sealed unit. My question is, which two coloured wires can I connect from this unit to get the passenger window to shut again, basically bypassing the window lock? Hope someone can help. Many thanks in advance. |

I eventually got the window closed by taking off the door panel, finding the wires for the window motor and connecting them directly to a 12V transformer.
At least this proves that the motor is working ok.. |
