What to do?
 

Ok i need the opnion of the experts (yall). Ok i have a 1988 supra just finsh my 5 speed swap and its a nonturbo i want it to go faster i am 16 and i can work on this car and do the work i just dont no waht would be easyer and better i want a turbo so do i go 7mgte or 1Jz i am leaning towards the 7mgte becasue it sounds easyer i want about 400 hp and at least 15psi out of the turbo can a 7mgte handle that thats my goal for this car i will need that turbo 5 speed transmission also but iwant my car to be realitlvly fast to beat all the guys around here like like eclipses and 3000gts i think 400hp would handle just about most of the eclsipes and other imports around here how well do yall think it will run agaist the kids my age with imports i think that it will beat them my goal is to have the ultimate import for a 16 year old around here but i was just wonderin what yall would do thanx for the help

k heres a list to get u started. go with a 7m, but right away put a metal head gasket in. a new intake, the k&n induction kits work best in my opnion. an exhaust from the turbo back, a new turbo, lighter cams, a new clutch with a lightweight flywheel. a v8 lexus afm with 600's injectors. that shuld just about whoop the shit out of all the imports around u. u better have a lot of money if u want to do all that.

Ya daddy better have a deep pocket cause i make a lot of money but i dont have enof to get 400 hp out of my car im going to aim for 300 with nitrous and a turbo conversion on a newer na block but headers and 3" exhaust and stuff like that... all i have to say is be nice to daddy

search around here and youll find mods listed in order that u should do to get good HP #s.



but first make sure your car is running 100% before you do mods.

whats a lexus v8 afm and how much are they..................also how mych shouldi budget for to do all the work including buying the turbo motor

probly around 4-5 grand

i jus got a turboxs boost controler
and im playing around boost levels 10-12 psi
i heard that its safe until 15
but anything over and you'll hit fuel cut
and wow, now i know how it feels
i got a mhg
cone air filter
stock exhaust piping with a muffler (old owner was a ricer)
it even had led windshield washers

but im getting good boost out of my car right now
need a new bov soon tho

next will be
a full 3" exhaust
new injectors
new pump
an afc
and a fcd

the lexus afm can be found on ebay
dont forget bigger injectors
