Do you really need the belly pan?
Does anyone have any experience or input as to whether you really need to use the belly pan (large molded piece that covers up the bottom of the engine compartment). With the addition of an aftermarket intercooler and tubing it doesn't fit very well anyways
I'm wondering if the under hood temp would be better with out it as well? Any thoughts?? |

you dont really need it.
most people already have taken it off b/c it's easier to work on your car. its main purpose is to block debris from hitting your engine (rocks, water, animals) as long as you have all timing covers on then you should be fine with removing it. |

Some say it helps proper air flow through the innercooler. Personaly I saw a 4 to 5 degree drop in water temp when I trashed it. If you have cold air it also helps.
