You should never use JB Weld, period.

Those oil plug gasket by themselves will work if you don't replace the #3 gasket. I've seen that most of the time the oil in the spark plug holes comes from the intake or exhaust cam cover gaskets.

You need to put a little silicone gasket sealer on the corners up front. And put silicone on the front camshaft caps corners where the seals go. That's why you have the continued oil leaks on the timing belt back cover.

i wonder why not the jb weld...and how about the perma poxy or epoxy how you wanna call it... its like a clay thing.. you gonna mix together and sealed it..

well... which corner up front you talking about.. is it the timing back cover upper corner... is that what you mean... or which upper corner...

this is what i did to my last timing back cover... i put up a new gasket and it leak... and i'm tired of it... so i decide to do a self custom gasket... and put it on... and yes i do use those black oil silicone from the toyota dealer... and it cost me about $20 for one little paste... and that paste is a half size from the little tooth paste only... and it stop my oil leak for a while... and then for about couple months later... its leaking again...

i wonder why you said dont bother #3 gasket... huh?

i got it done... it works fine now...
what i did to the #3 gasket... i get an rubber "O" ring from Napa Auto Part... and use the black oil silicone from the toyota dealer... and put it on... and now the #3 gasket is remove and there is no more oil leak...

i let you guy know how long this set-up last up to alright...

now my next problem... is my speed meter not working....
so i need to work on my speed sensor... cause its not working...

Just make sure those 14mm allen head plugs are torqued to 13 ft/lbs.
