That would be the No.3 cylinder head cover gasket.

It is a Toyota dealer only gasket.

It is held on by those 4 14mm allen head bolts.

Those bolts thread into the oil gallery.

Without this gasket, oil will seep from the 4 14mm bolts.

If you take it off and throw it away, like I did, You must use big oil drain plug gaskets under each of the 14mm bolts.

Bring one of the 14mm bolts to NAPA and they will be able to hook you up with the correct size gaskets.

Just for future reference, these bolts are the problem with oil in the spark plug wells, 99% of the time

ok... so dont you guy think that i got oil over the spark plugs cause of that one #3 gasket... is that right...

cause what i were doing is that.. i gonna replace a new valve gasket with those seals were the bolt holding the valve on place... and i take it apart and i found out that the #3 gasket is crack up n ect... and i dont know whats the name of it... so now i know... so thats kool...

can i do a custom make gasket for those 14mm torx head bolt and not using the #3 gasket... would that be fine... or i still gonna have oil on the head... were the spark plugs at...

sorry for my grammer...

dealer only.

http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Librar...ion=EM&Page=32

you could do as said above and use engine oil drain plug aluminum gasket washers (any parts store). and not use the #3 gasket.

Be sure to replace the #1 & #2 valve cover gaskets to keep oil out of the spark plug holes. (any parts store will have)

Carquest part # GSK VS50049 $26 min to $49max

thank you for the url....

i got the books here too hehe... thanx anyway...

well... can i do like you said... use some aluminum washers and some jb weld stuff. and put it back together and dont use the #3 gasket... (if i do this, i wonder how long it will last)

i already got myself a napa valve cover gasket witht hose round seals too... i already got that..

about the #2 gasket... i dont see any oil leak and stink on the timing belt cover... and both of the upper camshaft seals are good too... does it mean that i have to replace the timing cover gasket too... or i dont have too...

anyway thanx for price for the part and also the part # too... i check that out later...

here is my past experience about the timing cover gasket... like a years ago.. i use to have a 5mge auto. and i do a 5speed conversion... also i do a 7mgte turbo on the 5mge... anyway... my upper two camshaft seals were leaking oil like sh!t... and my timing cover gasket wasnt leaking at all... but for me to be able to replace the two upper seals i gonna remove the timing plate... aka timing belt cover.. and i remove it and i replace the two seals and also the new timing belt cover gasket too... and then from that moment on... i keep having trouble with the timing belt cover gasket... i keep having oil leak on that plate... and i replace it often...

so i'm not sure if the mk3 will be the same as the mk2 or not... but thats what i have it in the past on my mk2....
