1JZGTE question

I just bought a 1JZGTE supra clip and I am not sure if it has all of the intake pipeing. In the picture it doesnt show the air cleaner pipe to the air cleaner box I just want to know if there is supposed to be a MAF there and if it doesnt come with it what is a reasonable fit for the part. I found a HKS cold air for it but in its pics it doesnt show anything in the place of anything resembleing a MAF. Oh by the way I will have some good 7MGE parts when I do the swap if anyone wants anything. Trany has to be forced into 1st (like that when I bought it) and the motor has a preignition knock that wont go away.

Please guys any help would be greatly appreciated if anyone has a picture of what the 1JZGTE looks like from the factory I would know what I was missing or maybe the MAF is in a different spot but I am not sure.

well you can take a pic, so we got an idea on what we are dealing with

but i believe the 1jz has a afm on it too
unless you wanna get a standalone so you dont have to worry about it

but pics, so we can help more

here is the pic they had on their website when I bought it this is not the one I bought but they were sure that the others looked the same.

1jz doesn't have an afm, it has a map sensor. All you need is some piping and a filter. I have an HKS intake for a 1jz that would complete what you need there for your intake. Comes with a HKS filter. Let me know if you want to buy it

Or are you jus planning to buy it?

I wanted to buy ther 2jz front clip from them but 1850 for the whole clip,with everything
Has red lights flashing all over it

Can you let me know how your purchase goes?
