throtle lag and boost lag
 

i have a 88 turbo supra..7m-gte motor and i have bad throtle lag..the car feels like it doesnt want to move at all sometimes..only mods i have done to it is intake and 3inch exhaust. also when i drive i cant get the boost to kick in unless i give it a real good amount of gas...and i already only get about 10-12miles to a gallon and i dont want it down to 8mpg just to see boost go up..many thanx to all the advice

well you really gotta to push the pedal hard so itll get boost
thats whati do with my car, beat on it jus a little bit

and you will barely get any boost on first
and the stock ct26 doenst boost till 3000 rpms

but i only got an intake on mine and my turbo boosts at 2500
idk if it was an uprgraded ct that i bought, and im still trying to figure it out

oohh ok...see i thought it boost at a certain rpm no matter how much gas. buh wen i mes it it does boost.. i got it to boost at 2000rpm and all i have righ now is intak N exhaust..thanx man i thought it was just an issue with my car buh i guess not

But are you planning on increrasing the car's boost levels or anything like that

i do plan on gettin a bov from greddy and a down pipe(streety legal..if i can find one) will that help the boost kick in faster..and a turbo timing...those are the next step..hopefully the stock fuel injectors can hang

do you still have your factory cats? if so check the backpresure, they may be clogged like in my case....good luck.
