I just recently got a bone stock 88' supra turbo and I've got about 900 to spend on it, I dontk now much abuot the engine or the companies that make parts for this old of a supra. What would be the best mods I could put on the engine without breaking my budget too badly.

i'd try changing the stock exhaust first then maybe adding BOV. Not much else you can do with $900. You can probably get away with an aftermarket exhaust, downpipe, and BOV you you use ebay. Here are some sites that offer MKIII Supra Parts.

HKS Peformance Products
Blitz Performance Products
Supra Store

1st thing) head to your local muffler shop and get them to bend you a custom exhaust from a piece of pipe(2.5" is fine)....this is what i did and i got the exhaust from the turbo elbow(including a muffler, but no cats, of course) for $320 canadian.
if you're not planning on putting a huge turbo on and running 25 pounds of boost you really dont need a $1500 3" mandrel bend whatever.
Look under the car and see what you have for an exhaust

2nd) put some washers in your wastegate thats a $2 investment for 25+hp (aim for about 9-10 pounds boost)

3rd) i guess this should be first...but make sure you have nice spark plugs, oil change, etc

and you still have $500 bucks left for gas i suppose

1. 2.5in exhaust is too small for turbo supras. i measured my stock one at 2.5. muffler shop charged me 160 for 3in mandrel bent.
2. dont do the washer mod, its safer to buy a boost controller. they run roughly 80-120 shipped.
3.bov runs 150 max including shipping. pipe and welded flange 50$.
4.k&n or MAC filter with adapter 50$.
5.electric fan mod. this can get expensive depending on taste-350-450.

under 900$ shipped, your supra should see around 280-300hp. only one problem though, your clutch may not survive long.
