wt...car shuts off..nvr it wont start now
ok heres the story guys..i had class this morning and i do wha i always do with my 88 turbo supra...warm it up for at least 5-10 mins each time before i drive..or at least as close as possible to running temp..and today while i was walking around the car checkin it out..the car shut off so i turned it back on then checked under the hood and about 1 or 2 mins later it shut off again then after restarting it i allowed it to sit for another 2mins to b on the safe side i drove off and about 5 mins on the road the car shut off again...its done this about 6 times before wha can b the problem i put in fuel cleaner as soon as i bought the car and follwed the instruction..n e body have n e clue why its shutting off on random times...thank you

check your intake pipes. if there is a lot of air getting in past your afm it will shut off. mine did the when the hose to the throttle body was loose. it would shut off, but its was still close enough to let air in so id start up again, then id be driving and it ould shut off again.

well i have the stock intake piping an adapter connected to lexus afm..with a tenzo filter could that be the problem that the filter is suckin into much air and i checkd all the hoses its tight as hella with no leaks last time i checked buh ill check again in an hr or so

ok i just went to check the intake..and i tighten everything up that felt a lil lose buh when i did i saw that the stock bov hose that connects to the 3000 metal piping was coated with oil and on the black intercooler tubing it was coated with oil to could that be the problem

man fuk that bull shit..i went today to go buy my tie rod end outter and end up having the car completely shut down on me and it doesnt want to start up the batter is good cuz itll crank buh it wont start and i hear back fire buh whaever this is gay 1month with the car and it broke its at the shop i bougtht the car from hopefully its fix by saturday
