Have you worked on a Supra before because If you know alittle about these cars you can probably try and do it your self as long as you have some standard tools and some knowlege about cars. I did my first hg on my Turbo Supra when I was 16 and that was the first time I really worked on a car and I feel that since I did it my self I feel much better knowing that it is done right.

If you take it somewhere then you will need to tell them not to torque the headbolts to 58FT LBS(That was the OEM torque which caused Supras to blow gaskets in the first place). You should get some ARP bolts and torque it down to 75FT LBS.

Also is your car overheating or do you have any codes?

Its too bad that I dont live more close to you or else I could have helped you out with the gasket. Maybe you should check the tsrm.

TSRM= Toyota Supra Repair Manual

It costs around $130 to get your year specific version, or you can use the link around here somewhere for the '90 version (I think its for a '90?)

I would have to look for the tsrm link. If I find the link I will let you know.

http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/

Here she is. And it IS for a '90. (I knew it!)

There are differences between the years though. You can't buy TSRM's at the dealer, but if you ask them they will give you an 800 # for you to order it from.
