Front wheel bearings
I am new to this forum so forgive me if this has been discussed before. I understand that the bearings are sealed and not serviceable. Is there anything regarding their replacement that is not covered in the TSRM that I should be aware of? I will also inspect the ball joints and tie rod ends while it's apart. How difficult is it to change the struts? Do I need the special tools for all this or can I buy/rent what I need locally? TIA for any advice and comments.

You can get the spring compressing tool at Harbor Freight for about $10. Or from some other cheap tool place. (good for the toolbox).
Today I replaced both the lower ball joints, on the car, and NOT the way the TSRM said. It was EASY. I am going to write up the way and post in the FAQs section in a day or 2.
