Hello everyone. I have a 88 Mk III, N/A, auto-trans, supra. A few months ago i noticed that the car started shifting under 2500 rpm and wouldn't go above that until 5th gear. When i turn off the overdrive it shifts over that but is still sluggish getting up in acceleration. Someone said that it might be that the electrode which controls the torque converter on at higher speeds is stuck on. If this is true where is this electrode and is it inside the transmission or outside? Can someone help me!! Thanks
