89 N/A Power Window Motor?
When I first got my 89 N/A both power windows worked great which I was suprised at considering the car had sat undriven for years, and well, its an 89! So just recentely the passenger side window messed up. It will go down when brought down by the DRIVER's side switch. But WONT go back up unless the door is opened completely and is opened using the DRIVER's side switch! And this only works sometimes! The passenger controls dont work at all. Is there an electrical problem here or is the motor in the passenger window shot?
Thanks! |

mine was doing that i still can only control the passenger side with the driver side switch. then mine stoped working completely the driver window worked but not the passenger. when it stops or even now try cleaning the master switch (driver) and see if that helps if not get a new switch.

I had this problem and it drove me crazy till I took off the switch and saw the conectors needed cleaned. Its pretty common so just take the switch off and clean the connectors.
