White smoke= Coolant
Blue smoke= Oil Black smoke= fuel (rich condition) White smoke could also just be condensation burning off, like every car does in cold weather before the engine reaches full operating temp. Next time it's doing it when its idleing, go back and smell it. If it smells sweet, it's coolant. If it smells like exhaust, its condensation burning off (normal). |
