Default Speed limiter cut greddy defender

I bought one of these Greddy Defenders and the directions are in Japanese. Does anyone know or have a link to where I can find readable instructions. I found an old thread where the pink wire on the Ecu harness was for the speed cut. It also said something about just cutting it and it would deactivate the limiter but would cause the Check Eng. light to come on at high speeds. I could probably live with that and just throw this thing away. Any truth to this??

That's probly why my check engine light comes on everytime I race in the highway
Cuz I did that mod
I was wondering what it was

But even if the check engine light comes on it goes away after u shut off the car for a while

It's connected to something. If you don't want to use it you have to track it down to where it begins and delete it all together.

I'm sorry I'm building a 7m and have never encountered a pink wire.

If it's old it may have used to be red, but I doubt it. You need someone with a 1jz. I wish I could be more help.

Thanks anyway. This 1jz engine is everything you could want in the way of power, but is lacking in information. I may just email Greddy. I think I read about the pink wire in an old Toymod forum
