cas/cps?
Does the cas/cps have a certain way its suppose to be put it? Like as far as lining the gear up with the drive gear on the ex. cam? Im assuming it does, someone correct me or at least point me to a online tsrm page covering this installation.

Yes there is certain way to install the CPS. First you have to make sure the no.1 piston is at TDC, by lining up the crank pulley notch with the 0 degree mark AND making sure the cam matchmarks line up with the notches on the inner timing belt cover.
Then you have to match the drilled mark on the CPS shaft to the groove on the CPS housing. Then install it lining the CPS hold down bolt hole with the middle of the CPS eccentric hole. TSRM page IG-25. |
