Default Changing LSD oil.

Im changing the differential oil, but I have a few questions. The hayness maunual says to go with 90W GL-5 limited slip gear oil. Is that what I should be using? And I was thinking of getting royal purple gear oil btw. I also heard about adding some kind of addivtive to the diff. Thanks.

i dont know but while your down there you should weld up the diff's so you can have POSI its a hard one to pull off but if you get it welded really good then can drive the piss outa it without the welds breaking.

People still weld those for that??? I thought they stopped doing that in the early 90's. Aren't there some spider gears that you can replace and have full positraction?

He has a turbo, therefore he has an LSD (Posi trac). Welding it would make it a mother f'er to drive around parking lots...

You can use Royal purple 90w, just make sure its made for lsd's. It should say.
