Also sinse you got it done at the stealership those head bolts won't be torqued tight enough if you relied on them to do it because the tech book or tsrm still says 59lbs of torque, So I would look into the head bolts with a torque wrench and your trusty 14.mm socket.

I tried everywhere today to find a deep well 14.mm 12 point socket for my stud bolts. What a task not a parts store in town had one. I ended up getting it at sears.

I work in customer service so i can be good at making people feel miserably for shoddy service. So the consensus is that I have a right to go and bitch them out for a BHG after 30k miles?

well ask them what they torqued the head to. tsrm says 50ft/lb i believe but it should be more like 75-80

Actually I read last night, the tsrm states 58lbs. of torque.

I used a 2 inch extention and went to 85lbs. myself because I figure the extention threw it off a few lbs.

Did you mean an extension, like a typical socket one (the kind in everybodys toolbox), or like a crowsfoot one??

http://www.engineersedge.com/manufac...e_wrench_2.htm

A typical extension will use the SAME torque spec, because you are still coming straight up in line with the fastener.
You could use any length of this type, 2,3,6,12" etc.

Also, were you using factory bolts? And if so, they are NOT to be re-used.
