Clean out your intercooler!!
Yeah, so I noticed I had a little pool of oil in my intercooler outlet when I was doing my head gasket so I decided to take the intercooler out and clean it.
 Thats how much oil came out of the intercooler. Well, that's mixed with about 2 cans of brake cleaner and it took a good couple of hours to get it all out. And I kinda missed the cup most of the time. That is 20 years of oil getting into the intercooler. I suggest cleaning yours out if you have a turbo. And heres a picture of what a good cat looks like.  Thats the inlet, the part that bolts to the downpipe. |
