Getting new 86
 

hi guys, ive just bought an 86 7m ge supra manual and pick it up on saturday. I have since spoken with a few friends and they say that 86 supras are incredibly slow due to their weight. they all drive 92 celicas and they say these are much quicker. is this true? thanks.

Yep. Those celica guys sure have napolian complexes.

Unless your supra is not running good, you should smoke a celica no probs.

when you say smoke, do you mean absolutely anhialate? Can someone give me an idea of the performance of these cars? remember its the non turbo engine 7m-ge, and the older 1986 body. Are they quick cars?

How would it compare to something like a 1990 celica gt4?
