Default where do I put the Targa top???

I've finally gotten my hands on my dream car...

a 1989-92 era toyota supra turbo with a full spoiler and targa top, mine happens to be a '90 model.
I love my car, even though i've already put in $5000 of repairs on it.

my question I have is...

when I take the targa top off, is there an ideal place I can place it in the car other than in the back seat??? I mean is it possible to put it in the trunk space??? I cant seem to fit it without lowering the back seat? or throwing it ON the back seats.

anyone have any suggestions as to how I should place it?? with pictures preferably.

THANK YOU!!!

PS: here are the pictures of my supra...

if you look in your trunk area there should be four spots that protrude out

the targa rests on those they are on the speaker pod areas and behiend the tail lights they are really obvious so if you miss them just run your hands along the place inside the car behiend the taillights and they should be there

great and clean looking car. Keep it that way! My guess is that you don't have an owner's manuel based on your question. I'd suggest getting one on ebay. They're always available, just keep looking until one pops up.

Default Protect those wheels.

I noticed you have wheel weights on the outside of the wheels. I had a 89 non-turbo, with the white on white package. I loved the wheels, but someone put normal wheel weights on and gouged. You can get them static balanced. The weights will go inside the wheel. That is a beautiful Supra, they are getting harder and harder to find. Especially in that condition. If you haven't been informed it's biggest issue is that the manufacturer didn't torque the head bolts tight enough. This WILL lead to a blown head gasket if not corrected. You can find the proper torque all over the internet, I believe it was 79ppsi. It has been 12 years since I did it to my car, so I would double check.

This thread's over 6 years old. I'd be surprised if anyone is still watching it.
