Core 12 check your distributor connection or read wires from the ECU plug and read the loop through the distributor but for that one I would clear the ecu and see if it returns.
The code 52 could also be the connection, re-check that before doing the costly relacement. For the 25 and 26 its a little more serious. When I had that I ended up burning my rings because it was running too lean. My problem ended up being the O rings on the injectors. They were pinched distorted and not soft and pliable which allowed air to go by and lean out the mixture. I made a post on it before with pics, just do an advanced search for code 25 26 and my nick. |

On my NA I had to remove the air intake past the throttle body. Then the fuel lines cold start injector a couple of water hoses, I think the ISC valve and then a couple of bolts for the fuel rail. Then the whole thing pulled out. There are o rings in the rail and down where they seat in the head. Be careful about getting any dirt in the injector holes and you might want to blow the area out before hand with some LP air.
I would recommend getting the rings from the company, there are 3 different ones per injector and you might want to check on the other gaskets scince you have to take off the intake piping. Its not that difficult of a job and you can clean the injecors while they are out. |
