Im not against putting it somewhere else, the only reason i wanna put it where the evap can is, is because iv never seen it anywhere else before. Iv tired to place it in many areas of the engine bay. But it doesnt make sense to put it on the driver side since both routings run to the passenger side, and if you really take this catch can and try to mount it somewhere inside of the passenger side, the only places it really fits with a decent amount of space, is either on the stut tower (RIGHT next to the turbo) or where the evap can is (behind and to the side of the turbo), so i choose the best spot of my descression. If you have other ideas by all means, please recommend them, thats why this topic is here.
