Default Code 12

Well after some more work on the car with minimal results i ran another diagnostic and snatched a code 12. Has anyone had any experience with this code? should i just replace my whole distributor? also i cant get a voltage reading from my coilpacks when in the on position, i cant find the ground wire mentioned in another post could that be the problem with the coil packs?
Thanks again guys

A bad or missing ground is a definite possibility. What ground line is it that you can't locate?

ive read from other posts that the ground wire on the coils is more of a 'drain' wire. however id check into that. it should be on the right side of the packs and connect to the head near the outside of the cam cover.

how are you checking for voltage? http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Librar...ion=IG&Page=12

is that how you are doing it?
