Tuning Help
Hi all,
Good looking and informative site here, glad to be a member and hello from the UK. Could anyone help me with a problem I am getting with my 1989 moddified 7M-GTE Firstly here is the list of mods on the car. KOSIE 18X9 5 SPOKE ALLOYS TOYO 18X35X265 TYRES BLITZ EXHAUST SYSTEM DOWNPIPE COBRA SPORT TURBO ELBOW DRILLED VENTED FRONT DISCS BF GOODRIDGE BRAKE LINES HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ADJUSATBLE CAM SPROCKET LIGHTWEIGHT CRANK PULLEY WHEEL K&N AIR FILTER LEXUS AIR FLOW METER UPRATED TURBO 15PSI SPERACO INTERCOOLER BLITZ DUAL BOOST CONTROLLER APEXI SAFC CONTROLLER 550 INJECTORS RED TUBING ENGINE DRESS KIT BOV UPRATED POLY BUSHES CLASSIS FUEL PRESSURE GAGUE SPRINGS LOWERED UPRATED OVERBORE 020 JE PISTONS - RINGS METAL HEAD GASKET ARP HEAD/ROD BOLTS UPRATED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION Now for the question The safc fitted to the car has not been mapped and so the car is running very roughly and very rich at the top end so bad I can smell it in the car. Could anyone provide me with the base settings for this? The low settings are all at 0 although the high settings have been done I am not sure if they are right. Also the boost varies from day to day no matter how I set the blitz sbc. I have it at 15 gain and 35, 40, 45, and 50 volume hoping to get a steady 1.2 bar at the 50 setting. However one day it will sit there no problem the next day it will overboost the most I have seen is 1.37bar and still going, anyone know why this is? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks all |
