does a 82-85 celica tranny fit my mk3
i found a 5 speed from a 82-85 celica, chassis code RA64, will this fit my 7MGE with a 7M W58 bellhousing?
|
aside from the bellhousing is there any other differences between the w58 from an 82-85 celica and the mk3 supra?
|
lol besides the fact that the trannys are completely different? naaa naa nothing at all. Tranverse transmissions wont in any way shape or form work in any longitudilaly mounted set-up. It doesnt matter is if jesus built the belhousing, still no go.

If i had the money i would throw a 1jz in there lol that would be crazy great, and you might be able to use the trans of a 1985 supracelica the cars that year were very similar hence the name supracelica. Im not an expert but toyota wouldnt make 2 trannies with the same name if they werent the same. Could always call toyota and try to find out but that might be a waste of time. |

And for the question, it will work with the corect Supra bellhousing. Good luck! Dave. |
