Timing is right buh i still lack power

i checked my timing today and its exactly at 10degree and my idle isd 900rpm and i know its suppose to be at 650rpm i tried checking the CPS and throttle and i cant get it to 650rpm. Ive had about 5 other supra owners around long beach that said i should feel the power at 3000rpm and i used to feel it but now i cant feel it at all it feels the same and when turbo kicks in. I can still barelly feel it. anyone have any clue wha can be wrong i got a code 51 buh it went away after i fixed it..

thank you for any help at all i want my car back to killing hondas on the street

maybe you have a leak or your turbo is gettin worn out, ct26's cant handle 12+ very long.

by the way i also live in long beach you've probably seen me driving around in an 89 white t-top with flat black rims, sadly my car is an NA automatic

88T did you fully warm up the car and bridge the T and E terminals at the diagnostic connector and then started the motor and checked the timing? Make sure you are setting base ignition timing without the ECU's electronic advance.

Run a compression test. I would if my engine started lacking power for no good reason except flooring it everywhere.

My cars idle is iffy. I can get it to idle at 650 only after driving it for a while with multiple trips. Any other time it idles around 800, probably because it isn't up to full operating temp. Thats why you must fully warm up the car before setting the base ignition timing.

y not just adjust ur idle adjusting screw?? to get ur idle down to 650

After the car has fully warmed up you can take the little arm off of the throttle body that has an adjustable rod end and see what the idle is with it off. If it goes down then you just need to adjust the rod end.
The other method is the dashpot screw. You can loosen the jamnut and turn it out till you get the desired RPM.
If method one and two don't bring it down then you will have to bring the throttle stop screw down a little but after doing that you will have to check your TPS to see if the idle switch in the TPS is still adjusted properly with a meter and feeler guage.

to answer some question i tried adjusting the screws i took it to a guys house who worked on a 7m and has a 1jz supra seen his car at work so i trust him. and he put it to its lowest it can go and i still cant get down to 650rpm. and yes the car was competely warmed up and still at at 900rpm ima have to wait till monday to do the compression test ill ask my uncle to do it. and i checked the timing when the engine was warmed up i just cant get it to drop

oowee623 ive seen your car around long beach...have you seen a 88 turbo in all white with momo racing seats and a 3inch exhaust its a targa top
have u seen a gold and block top supra 89+back light and tail light he helped me with my car ive been seeing alot of supras lately around long beach

A vacuum leak can also make it idle high too. A hissing sound can be heard under the hood if thats the case. The hose that comes loose for me is the T connection behind the intake manifold that goes to the cruise control and the heater valve. If those are OK double check under the intake manifold for the connections to the little canister and metal lines that wrap around the block. and go to the injector regulatorI have an NA so Im not sure about the turbo.
Here is a cygnus link that shows better than I can explain.

i might know what is wrong now i did another check and i got a code 51 i read that it could be the throttle sensor so im gunna try and go to the junk yard and get a new one i know the junk yard might have a defected one buh ill risk it ill just steal it sumhow...i replace the hose to the intake manifold with new silicone hoses from suprasport but ever since i replace it my check engine light comes up like earlier today around 11:30 were the light popped up and the car started to feel like it was gunna die...it would rev then jerk forward like it just lost all power buh it goes away
