Power Steering
I have a 1988 supra non turbo my car lost power steering i change the pump but it is still hard can some one tell me what it could possible be? I have own the car 2 years now and thats the only thing that happe since

any leaks?the high pressure line is most likey to go first check for pin holes and sometimes the rack goes bad and does that

Dude I bet you have air in the line. Put a condom on it and see if the tip blows up. If so you just need to bleed it slowly while you fill it slowly. If the tip sucks into the hole just top it off slowly.
The thing to remember about atf fluid is that when you add it. There can not be a break in your pour or you just created an air bubble. Last edited by supramacist; 06-24-2007 at 05:39 AM. |
