First responce: NO
Second responce: Why? Because you don't know where the hell that engine even came from. A good rule of thumb when trying to buy something broke down. Is to not buy something torn apart from head to toe. Sure the big parts are there. But what about the small parts that make the big parts actually work. You don't want the headache unless you have previous experience in the supra. And then it's questionable. You'll spend a couple hundred bucks on nuts and bolts. You don't know how long it's been torn apart or anything. Then it's an 86.5. Those models are cars that only a first owner can love man. That car has two of everything so you have to order twice the parts from toyota because you don't know what you have. Maybe not for everything but there will be times like that. I'm trying to think of reasons why you should spend 700$ on a whip in 3 pieces, lol. There isn't one. I hope this helps. |

GD. 1 day. You should charge admission or do your own version of overhauling only in hours. You could be a star.

One guy one day and 3 huge pieces.
I'd have to see it to believe it. For real. Plus together and actually running are 2 extremely different things. |

This isn't your grandpappys old chevy or ford truck.
If you fuck around and miss something you'll be doing it again. I'm not even going to touch your real mechanic comment. These cars are just a different breed and because it's rebuilt doesn't mean dick. I'm not trying to give you a hard time or anything. I just don't want to see you have to do it all over again. Is all. |
