hmmm well maybe its the tps
ok well my car hits 2k rpm and hits fuel cut, until i shift, and can rev up to 2k again lol so im thinking its the tps..so i got a new one and im ganna reset it tommorow i mean igot a code 41 and the last sensor, no matter hwere i put it, the numbers on the ohm meter just culdnt match up to what they shuld be, i baught a new sensor and am waiting to postition it tommorw, i hope this works

well im pretty sure i set the damn tps right but its stillnot working correctly, now i hit fuel cut, just 200rmps later...its fuckin shitty im ready to sell the supra

dont sell the sup!
if its turbo, check for boost leaks, you could be getting a boost leak and that would cause less air in the engine so it would pretty much bog the motor down with fuel and die. i dunno, just my 2 cent thoughts |
idk anywhere there cul;d possibly be a boost leak tho...when i finished replacing the headgasket it was running liek this, and i was getting a code 41 which is throttle position sensor signal

Id check all the hoses and anything rubber that could be torn or cracked just in case.
but since your gettin a code 41, its gotta be the TPS, but you never know, those pesky hoses. i dunno man, thats all i got. good luck with your problem though mate |
and its not a bogged down feeling, once my car hits around 2k rpm it just dies, until i shift or until the revs drop. and then gets power right away again, and idk if its a boost leak because the car will start to boost...but then due to the fuel cut i cant rlly see it boost n e more

idk any more i replaced the tps and thought i had reset it right, but i baught i used one with a new throttle body but its still doing the same thing...im ganna buy a new tps and see if thats it..and if its not..im giving up and either takin it to a shop or selling it

you're hitting fuel cut very early, does it blow alot of black smoke out the exhaust? how does it idle?
