my options. need suggestions
 

Okay so right now I own a 88 supra turbo with a bad lifter. I am moving in the next month and it is parked at my dads warehouse. I own 4 cars, the supra, a 77 nova(rebuilt in good cond.), a 79 ford(rebuilt, but decent), and a 96 contour (my dd) my mom wants me to sell all the cars but my contour. I can get away with just selling 2 cars if i really try. Since I just finished rebuilding the head on the supra I really dont want to take it all back apart and neither does my mom so ive been looking at a possible 1jz gte swap and use the stock R154 tranny.

So my options are to just sell all my cars and buy an 01 ford ranger 5 speed ext cab. I could sell everything but the contour and pay for college. (just graduated HS) or I could sell everything but the contour and supra and do the swap but I wont be doing a lot of mods other than electronic boost controller and a full 3" exhaust.

Also does $1500 sound decent for a 88 supra turbo with a torn up interior, great body and a bad lifter sound decent?
