ciggarette lighter
 

hello everyone, i was wondering if someone could do me a super huge favor and take off their center console where the ash tray and ciggarette lighter is and take a few pics of how the ciggarette lighter is held in and installed/wired.....

i bought my car and the ciggarrette lighter was in the dash and all the wiring looks a bit tampered with, just want to know what it looks like stock...

there should be a 3pin white plug behind the console which plugs to the cigarette lighter
the base of the lighter unit should slide into the console which then you should have a little round thin steel washer/circlip type thing which screws onto the back of the lighter that tightens it up against the console

i'm not sure if that made any sense but i'll grab a pic for ya tomorra if i get time :)

fuck, yeah im missing that little metal clip that threads on the back of the actual lighter, so when i put it in the dash, it just flops around....

looks like im goin to a junk yard dis weekend haha
