Head question!
im in the middle of fixing my bhg is my 88 supra, but the problem ended up being a default gasket. becuase of this does this mean that i still need to get the head machined? its a jasper remake with 8,000 miles on it, practically brand new.

If you're just replacing the HG with an OEM head gasket then check to make sure the block and head aren't warped or pitted. If the car seriously overheated, at least take the head into a good machine shop for inpection and testing.

the guy who i bought it from blew the hg while he was testing it out for me, after that i didnt drive it at all, so i dont think it was overheated too bad just a poof.
|
i'm starting to wonder about this Jasper crowd... who are they, where are they and do they have a website? looks like they have a couple of engines to own up to
|
i dont really know what jasper is, i just bought the supra not long ago and the guy told me it was jasper rebuilt engine he had just put in. its bored .020 so its just a rebuilt one.
