I did one fine rainy day and ended up getting water all over the inside of my engine compartment and it killed my engine. I had to get my car off the road, park it and get a ride to work cause it died and wouldn't start. I got a ride to my car 6 hours later and it fired right up. Thats also why you don't hose down your engine.
