So I lost a few parts in the last two weeks. First I lost that cover that goes b eneath the engine and the ground. I assume its just to keep debris out, but is it a terrible thing to run without?
Also, The heat shield fell off my convertor. Should i get that replaced asap? |

Dukes of hazard driving style?
U can live without the plastic cover underneath the engine bay, but it is very helpful on keeping dirt and dust out of there And for the heatshield I suggest getting it replaced soon Since it can burn certain stuff there I forgot who's car got on fire underneath the seat when he had a exhaust leak on the pipes

Don't run through any puddles with that cover off. I did one fine rainy day and ended up getting water all over the inside of my engine compartment and it killed my engine. I had to get my car off the road, park it and get a ride to work cause it died and wouldn't start.
I got a ride to my car 6 hours later and it fired right up. Thats also why you don't hose down your engine. |
