Hi,
I would like some advice please. I have owned three 1990 MkIIIs, two turbos and one na, all were automatic. I have noticed that when slowing to approximately walking pace and then accelerating the engine revs briefly to about 2500rpm as if out of gear, then the transmission changes up and all returns to normal. My question is, is this normal behaviour or do i have a tranmission problem?? The reason i ask is that all three cars i have owned have all done this, none of them has showed any other signs of transmission wear or burnt fluid etc. Any advise on this would be appreciated ![]() TIA, Adrian.. |
