speedo ?s
about 2 weeks ago my speedo cable broke and i took the whole thing out and got it fixed and put it back in but now i realized my speedo is off when it says im going 70 im really go 60 i think it was off like that before the speedo cable broke but its there any way to fix that it might be my tranny cus i got it out of an 83 supra and just canged the taiil shafts

If you didn't change wheel/tire size I would suspect the gear in the tranny that drives the cable. You would need one with a different ratio to compensate ,but I have no idea how involved a task that is to change on your tranny or if an alternate gear is available.

Damn. There has to be an easier more cost effective way to deal with it.
We are all used to thinking about our rides too hard, we sometimes have to remember to think smaller. |
