ok check this out...i flushed my system an all that...but this a question about my brakes....i jsut got new brake they're on..everything worked good for a week but now when i step on the peddal it hits the floor an i have to pump it to build pressure...it feels like theres aior in the line..but i replaced all the hoses an master cylinder an it stills hits the floor wit little stoppin power...i got all the right parts an made sure theres no air in the line ...its at the machanic now ...so anyone please let me know what u think it is
are you sure the brake booster doesnt have an internal leak??
theres no air in the line
maybe its a defective master cylinder, i mean the one you just replaced, parts do come defective new on occasion.
i tried that...idk lets see what happens when it gets out of the machanic
ok he said the front caliper is frozen so.....idk what to do
if you have replaced that caliper with a new one, then take it off, and return it for a replacement with the receipt, or your gonna have to go and get a new one if you haven't already. Also is he gonna charge you anything for looking at the car. If he is find out how much, and then find out how much for him to do the caliper, keep in mind his price is going to include a new caliper. so get a price on a caliper anyway, and if its only a little more for him to do it. then i would have him do it, rather then pay him just to look at it, and then have to go to the store and do it yourself.

replace the brake booster and its vaccum line. Or check the vaccum line connection going to the intake. Most cars have vaccum power assisted brakes, if theres no vaccum in the booster, you dont have assited braking. Try this, pump the brakes a few times with car on, turn it off, and pump them a lot more times. if nothign changes (braking gets harder, softer, anything) than you probably have a vaccum booster problem. A good booster should hold enough vaccum after the car is off for 2 or 3 or 4 pumps(Its an emergency feature)
