Fuken BS died at idle while it made pop noise
well tonight i was driving home then stopped at a light and it started to pop while it idle so i rev it a lil still does it pops and pops then it dies took me about 10 cranks to start it back while i smelled suming burning...i will be checking my plugs tomorrow and my coolant is leaking again fukn bs man im tired of this the coolant is leaking to the ground i might b spending either all day tomorrow or wednesday on the car...n e help why the car poppped when idel then died sounds like a misfire
i got a check engine light earlier dat day for about 4sec then went never popped back...im reading last time i check code 51 did a compression test got a code 12 and 14 edit ...check engine light came on earlier dat day

sounds like an interesting problem you have there
code 12 14.. are those like rpm or starter signal?? can't remember right now do a fresh diagnosis and get back to us 51 i believe is tps.. check the plug make sure it's firmly plugged and check/adjust as per tsrm

i reseted my code and it cleared all but the code 51...i get less pop unless im being stupid and hittin red line..buh its feeling better i just needa fix the 51..thanx

51 is specifically the TPS IDL switch or the NSW switch (on autos). You'll throw a code 51 if you rev the engine while the diagnostic is jumped as well.

mm dat code be it buh i couldnt get rid of the code 51 even after i tried to reset and made sure the TPS is on the original toyota spot

hey i had that problem again yesterday were it did a violent pop like a misfire again..my uncle thinks my timing is off but last time i check my timing was 10degree buh my CPS might be off cuz i know everything i do somethign with the car it wont start until i adjust it then put it back to were it was to work
