I could hook you up I have a complete harness for a 7MGE sitting on my old motor and it is in good shape the motor has 146000 on it and the I did my 1JZ swap and need to get rid of all of the old parts.

What year is the harness? I have a 86.5 it is different than the engine. I need to find out what year my motor is any ideas on how to find that out?

Are those plugs for the injectors from the 86.5 harness or the cut harness?
The injectors look yellow to me so might be the JDM ones which won't work on a US harness. Take a look at this link and you can see the difference between the JDM plugs and US plugs.

US uses plug F and JDM uses E for 7MGE.
If you have the yellow ones you will have to get a set from a junkyard and don't forget to put new O rings on them.

Last night I noticed that the cut harness on the engine has the plug for the alternator and the 86.5 harness does not. Is there year to year difference between the harnesses?

I can't tell if the injector plugs are different they look the same just different colors.

My harness is from a 87 N/A and the plugs on the harness are yellow. Just let me know if it will work for you.

Your injectors look to me to be JDM injectors which are yellow and will not plug into a US harness unless you remove them and gring the tabs from them.
They also flow less than the US ones.
I attatched a pic of one of mine (nevermind it has sand in it) and you can see the color is light green which is a US version injector.
The Alternater is on a different harness than the ECU so don't worry about that. The oil pressure guage also is separate from the ECU. Your guage cluster won't be the same as the Supras so your going to have to either hook up to a separate guage or go mechanical.

Ok so I need to get the US injectors, the harness should work with the ECU?

f00g00 07-15-2007 01:17 PM

If the plugs hook up to the ECU then yes it will work. What type of intake did you get with the motor, is it straight after the throttle body or a Y after it? I didn't see a pic of it.

It is a Y I took it off so I can get to the injectors.
