Default 7mge swap, electrical problem

Hi, as some of you may know i did a swap from a non-turbo auto, to a JDM 7mgte 5 spd. I have one big problem, as the japanese wire harness is made for a right hand drive, it wont work. Also the connectors are a bit different, any suggestions. Greatly appreciated Thank you.

I ran into the same problem with my 1JZGTE swap the different connectors are a easy fix just have to find them and splice them into your wireing harness. If you go to a dealership and take the connectors they should be able to get them. I lucked out because I had a clip and just cut off the ones I needed. As for wiring them there is quite a few people out there that have a wiring diagram that will work for you the colors should be the same just in different places on the plugs.

I have one question for you, where did you get the diagram from? As I need one. My car was a 89 non-turbo, automatic, and I have switched it over to a jdm 7mgte 5spd. I just really need a wiring diagram, I can splice them together/solder. I was looking for a extension for the wiring harness, as the japanese wiring harness is too short, because it was from a right hand drive japanese supra.

Here's an online copy. I recommend buying a copy though, it's alot easy to thumb through a printed version and as long as sales continue Toyota's more likely to keep publishing them.

I suspect it would be easier to convert your original harness.
