Ignition Wires
i thought this would be an easy buy haha. right now im looking at NGK wires and MSD wires....the NGK wires on suprasport.com are about 65 bucks, but have 8k ohms per ft of resistance...however, the MSD wires on titanmotorsports have about 50 ohms (not thousand...just 50) per foot, and 1500 ohms of suppression (whatever the hell that is, and whatever the difference in the rating and coming up with 50 and 1500), and theyre 8.5mm...but 90 bucks. and they dont have any rubber boots falling off, like someone said happens to the NGK wires.
does the difference between the resistance of the wires really matter *that* much? if it does, ill get the MSDs....or if the MSDs are just that much better anyways. ive already commited to NGK iridiums, and i need wires to accompany. oh, and on a side note...blocking off the EGR valves with the plates? whats the pros and cons to doing that?

NGK plugs are super.
NGK wires are the wires you get if you need them quick and you can't wait for the msd's to come in. Crytal clear transferance, even with the beast un tweaked. You will not be sorry. Besides...., what's that site again??? I gave $118.00 for my set. IMO.., you might be over thinking the situation. The ngk wires are good wires also. You can't go wrong either way. |

MSD'SSSSSSSS ARE. the best wire, and at 90 bucks they are a F&%king steal.
Copy that. Wichever site has the 90 dollar msd's. I'll buy a spare set at that price. I think it was suprasport. |

MSD's are the game.
ask around. Worst thing you figure out is that it's a personal preferrance and they are both excellent wires. MSD's with A blaster SS coil. Walbro fuel pump. Denso iridiums. I'm not playing with ya man. I'm shooting you straight. |

Taylor Vertex makes far superior ignition wire... but you'll have to build the set. They don't make wire sets for anything but a handfull of domestics. On the up side, if you buy the wire in bulk when it's on sale you can build two sets of wires for around $70.
Both NGK and MSD are excellent wires. Toyota wires are extremely well made too, I really don't think they get the credit they deserve. |

where can you buy a ss blaster coil pack? im buying the plugs and wires from JSC speed, and ive gone through my list of 10 online providers and they dont have em haha.
thanks very much for the info tho =) the cheap price of the plugs at JSC almost makes up for the expensiveness of the wires.
